It sure was a hell of a party, Eric noted. There was plenty of booze to
go around and no shortage of kinky bikinis. A huge bonfire had been built on
the beach and it crackled lively, sending tiny sparks of fire into the cool
night. A sound system was blasting heavy metal rock music and everybody who was
anybody was generally having a good time. Some of them occasionally splashed
about in the lake, cooling off to keep their senses for at least a few more
hours so they wouldn’t miss out on all the booze just waiting to be guzzled
down. Yep, it sure was a hell of a party.
Before coming here, Eric had vowed he would not get drunk tonight. Well
at least not alone. If he had to get drunk, then Ramona and Raven would have to
get drunk with him. Those were the rules; either they all got drunk or none at
all. He wouldn’t have another episode of being helped into bed by a girl; the
first time was embarrassing enough as it was. He looked around for his partners
in crime and spotted them near the tree line of the woods whispering urgently
to one another. It seemed like they were arguing about something. Eric smiled
as he strolled over. They were obviously arguing about who the stud would be
taking home tonight.
“Are you insane?” Raven hissed. “There are more than fifty people here
and you want to do what?”
“Oh don’t be such a party pooper Raven,” Ramona said. “All we need to do
is just quietly slip away without anyone seeing us, just have a little taste
and come right back. It’s not like we’ll be killing the guy.”
“We’ve already had this discussion and you’re not going anywhere near
Eric,” Raven said.
“You know you’re starting to be a real pain in my ass,” Ramona said
folding her arms across her chest. “You better get your act straight before you
ruin a perfectly good meal for everyone.”
“You better get your act straight before you ruin a
perfectly good peace agreement for everyone. Do you even know that Eric’s
mother is a werewolf?”
Ramona searched Raven’s face for any signs of whether she was lying or
not but it seemed she was telling the truth. “That’s impossible,” she finally
said. “She can’t be a werewolf.”
“Yes she can and she is,” Raven assured her. “I know it sounds crazy
because obviously Eric isn’t but its true Ramona. Harming Eric wouldn’t do
anybody any good, especially you. His mother would hunt you down and you know
how loyal werewolves are to each other, they’d probably back her up and it
would all just escalate out of control.”
Ramona was silent for a minute, contemplating how this new information
could affect her desires towards Eric’s blood. “All I need is a little taste,”
she said licking her lips. “Just a tiny little taste and I swear I’ll never
think about it again. I’ll even stop talking to him if you want.”
Raven was now sure this girl had totally gone mad. She was willing to
jeopardize the peace that existed between the two species for a mere few drops
of blood! Even in her wild newborn days, Raven would never have thought of such
a thing! Okay maybe that wasn’t entirely true but she would have at least
paused for a minute. Ramona on the other hand wasn’t a newborn and was in
greater control of her cravings but here she was, contemplating the impossible!
Raven was about to deliver a very harsh verdict when she saw Eric approaching
through the corner of her eye. She glared a stern warning at Ramona before
putting on her sweetest smile and turning to face Eric.
“Ladies the fire’s that way,” Eric said pointing behind him.
“We were just sorting out a few last minute differences in opinion
weren’t we Raven?” Raven nodded, not trusting herself to speak at this moment.
“Of course you were,” Eric drawled, enjoying the obvious tension between
the two. “Well the party’s just starting to crank up a notch so you two feel
like getting down on it?” he asked as he did a little dance, wiggling his hips
in tune to the music that had now changed to an afro beat of some kind.
“Actually, how about cranking it up a notch more?” Ramona said grabbing
his hand and heading off into the woods. She didn’t get too far though as she
felt herself being yanked back. She turned only to find Eric flat on his ass,
Raven holding his hand tightly.
Eric quickly got up, trying hard to hide his embarrassment. He’d just
been pulled like a rag doll by a girl! He cleared his throat. “You got quite an
arm on you there,” he commented to Raven. “You ever play baseball?”
“I’ve thought about it,” Raven answered but keeping her gaze aimed on
Ramona.
Ramona grabbed Eric’s arm and pulled while Raven did likewise on his
other arm. It was now an open tug of war between the two girls and Eric felt he
had to stop or his arms would give away any second. These two were awfully
strong for their gender.
“Whoa there,” he said disentangling himself from their grip. “Are you
trying to render me a handicap now?” He rubbed his aching shoulders, wondering
just how they could show such power. “Now I’m sure we can come to a civilized
decision about all this. There’s plenty of me to go round.”
“You’re absolutely right,” Ramona said grabbing him to her quickly
before Raven could react. “I’ll go first.”
“How about we both go?” Raven asked trying to appeal to Eric’s sexual
sense. There was no way she was gonna leave him alone with Ramona, no matter
how much she claimed she just wanted a little “taste”. If a taste was all she
really wanted, Raven was going to make sure a taste was all she got.
Eric was left dumbfounded at her question. Never in his wildest dreams
would he have thought this was how this night would go. He would certainly have
wished it but never have imagined it. “Both of you at the same time?” he asked
warily hoping she would not suddenly awaken and change her mind.
“Sure,” Raven smiled at him. “Unless you think three’s a crowd?”
Eric vigorously shook his head. “I’d never think that,” he said. “I love
the number three, matter of fact it’s my favorite number.”
“Well I guess it’s settled
then,” Ramona said, with a sly look at Raven. Leading the way, she trudged into
the woods, already anticipating the taste of Eric’s blood on her lips.
